Postcards from Millerton, NY

We took the long way home yesterday and made a quick stop in Millerton.

Lots of cute shops, but hardly anything was open -- Sunday afternoon, and all.

I've had this feeling for a while that I would really fall in love with Millerton and want to add it to our growing "after NYC" list of possible locations.  But both of us left feeling kind "eh." Something comforting about finding those spots, too, though.  Helps you focus on the ones you do love.

  1. Apparently that's where Eddie Ross lives. Any chance you spotted him that day?

  2. Sadly, no Eddie Ross sightings! And I think he's one I might recognize. You are much better at spotting celebrities than I am though :)

  3. Wow, what time were you in Millerton? On Sunday the bookstore (fabulous) opens at 11, everything else around 11 or 12, it is Sunday. Millerton is definitely Not an "eh"

  4. Hi Anon! Thanks for stopping by. It was months ago, but I bet we were strolling through around 5PM? Wish we had been able to visit the bookstore! Those are a serious weakness of mine.
