Paper book wreath + Winter in Bordeaux

Still not sure what I think about this project (based on this one - Lindsay's is significantly cuter!). I will say this about it though -- it's fast and very inexpensive to make. The how-to is over here.

This afternoon Peter is picking me up from work and we are heading out to Long Island for a cooking class at Sur La Table! The course is called "Winter in Bordeaux" and the menu includes Lillet-steamed mussels, beef tenderloin with Bordelaise sauce and a caramel apple tart. Oh la la!

Wishing you a very happy weekend, sweet friends!

  1. If you said that you just bought this wreath from Anthropologie, I would totally believe you. It looks great! Happy weekend!

  2. Lillet-steamed mussels? Brilliant! Hope you have a great time, and maybe share the recipes? Beautiful wreath, too! Happy Weekend!

  3. oh my word - so jealous of your cooking school excitement - enjoy!

  4. A cooking class?! How very fun!!!
I've seen that tutorial before and I've been meaning to try it myself. Anothe project added to my list - someday I'll get to them. :)

  5. Thanks so much, ladies! The cooking class was super fun - I'm going to try to recreate the mussels soon and will certainly share!
